Sale Format
• Sale will be a Board Auction, silent bids submitted by bid
stubs, no Auctioneer.
• All animals will have a base price ranging from $80 to $250.
•
Bids open at Noon
and will close at approximately 1:30
• Buyers may bid at the base price, or raise the bid on the
animal of their choice.
• Minimum bid increments of $15; for animals above $200, minimum
bid increment is $25.
Bids will be placed on the board in the order they are received.
• Bidders must watch the board, when a bid is raised, a new
buyer number and higher bid will
be placed on the board.
• Phone bids may be arranged, but phone bidders should be
prepared with maximum bids.
• Approximately 1 hr after the start of bidding we will begin to
close the top selling lots and
consecutively close the lots thereafter. This will give buyers a chance
to bid on 2nd or 3rd
choice animals if their top pick falls out of their price range.
• Note: We give ample time for bids, but we do push to promptly
close the higher selling
animals.
• Payment must be made promptly after the sale, cash or good
check.
• Ask about delivery arrangements if needed. Animals should be
removed at the close of the
sale, unless prior arrangements are made.
• Delivery may be available to Northern Virginia on April 26 and
points along I-81.
• Animals may be viewed after April 1st by appointment only.

Health
Status:
All pigs have been vaccinated.
These vaccines are used for
protective and precautionary measures for our show pigs that may
experience frequent movement or mixing with other animals. The
use of these vaccines do not necessarily indicate we have a
problem with any particular disease. |
